Mini Wheel Mitt
A super handy mini mitt for washing wheels! Made of soft, gentle and durable microfibre, the mitt covers only the fingertips, allowing easy access to tight gaps, the backs of wheels and other hard-to-reach places.
King Carthur Mini Wheel Mitt is a wheel wash mitt made of durable, soft microfibre. Designed especially for detailed and gentle cleaning of spokes and awkwardly shaped areas, the Mini Wheel Mitt covers only the fingers and half of the palm, giving a perfect feel while washing. Thanks to its handy size, this mitt also gives better access to the backs of wheels, where a regular wash mitt does not fit because of its size. Washing is also made easier by the thumb loop sewn into the mitt, which keeps the mitt on your hand even when the washing position is not ideal! The long synthetic microfibre strands of the Mini Wheel Mitt are gentle even on more delicate surfaces, and their advantage over lambswool mitts is their resistance to both chemicals and wear. This mini mitt copes effortlessly with both a gentle maintenance wash and a thorough wash with solvents! Thanks to its size, the Mini Wheel Mitt is also a good choice for washing motorcycles, mopeds and bicycles.

Quick guide
- Microfibre products are almost without exception machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre product is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate wash bag, so that the cloth cannot rub and wear the other items or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent made specifically for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that the cloth is cleaned properly and kept as fluffy and absorbent as possible.
- If a normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as e.g. cloths used for waxing, so that wax residue released from the cloths does not clog the drying cloth.
- Microfibre products should be washed regularly so that they get clean at the wash temperature given in the care label. The temperature generally ranges between 30-60 degrees. Very dirty microfibre may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and needs a higher wash temperature than the given care instructions to get clean. However, using a temperature higher than the care instructions carries risks; in particular, microfibres washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the wash temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
