A top-quality short-pile microfibre cloth for wiping off coatings. Very soft and gentle construction with seamless edges. Weight 600 g/m².

King Carthur White Crystal is a top-quality, soft, short-pile microfibre cloth whose construction is optimised specifically for wiping off various coatings. High-quality microfibres and an exceptionally high polyamide content (30%), combined with a completely seamless construction, ensure a soft and gentle touch on the paintwork, making wiping off as safe and easy as possible. The cloth also leaves no lint behind and has no sewn-in care label, which adds to its gentleness even further. With edges cut by an ultrasonic cutter, White Crystal has a generous weight of 600 gsm, which ensures outstanding absorbency and prevents the cloth from clogging during wiping off.

Quick guide

  • Microfibre cloths are almost without exception machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre cloth is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag so that the cloth does not rub against and wear other items, or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent designed specifically for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that the cloth is cleaned properly and kept as plush and absorbent as possible.
  • If a normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other fillers, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used for waxing, so that wax residue released from those cloths does not clog the drying cloth.
  • Microfibre cloths should be washed regularly, at the washing temperature given on the care label, so that the cloth gets clean. The temperature usually ranges between 30 and 60 degrees. A very dirty microfibre cloth may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and may need a higher washing temperature than the one given in the care instructions. However, using a temperature higher than the care instructions involves risks: microfibre cloths washed at the low temperature of 30 degrees in particular may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) if the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
