An extremely soft and plush polishing towel for those who love their car's paintwork. WE RECOMMEND IT!

The King Carthur Red Ruby Gen2 is a wonderfully soft and gentle polishing towel that takes its place among the best polishing towels. Its fibre length and density are optimised for buffing off car wax. The velvety-soft touch is gentle on paintwork. With seamless edges, the majestic Red Ruby has a substantial weight of 650 g/m², which ensures that the towel does not clog in the middle of polishing.

Dude's comment: "Practically the best towel you can choose for buffing. The plush Red Ruby Gen2 lasts through the whole process without problems, which makes it a reliable helper suitable for many purposes. This gentle towel is also great for more delicate surfaces!"

Quick guide

  • Microfibre cloths are almost without exception machine washable, and they should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre cloth is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate wash bag, so that the cloth does not rub against and wear other items or collect lint from them. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, to clean the cloths properly and keep them as plush and absorbent as possible.
  • If normal laundry detergent is used, make sure that it does not contain zeolite or other softeners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying towels should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used for waxing, so that wax residue released from the cloths does not clog the drying towel.
  • Microfibre cloths should be washed regularly at the wash temperature given in the care label. The temperature generally varies between 30 and 60 degrees. A very dirty microfibre cloth may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and may need a higher temperature than the given washing instruction. However, using a temperature higher than the washing instruction carries risks; microfibre cloths washable at a low 30 degrees in particular may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the wash temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
