Slim Wash Cloth
A microfibre wash cloth designed for easy wheel washing, making it quick and ergonomic to clean spokes and the backs of wheels! The cloth is wrapped around the spoke, so washing is possible without stretching or reaching.
King Carthur Slim Wash Cloth is a durable and gentle microfibre wash tool designed especially for wheels. The innovative Slim Wash Cloth makes e.g. washing wheel spokes extremely easy, as its long, narrow shape allows the tool to be wrapped around the spoke, so the backs of the wheels can also be cleaned effortlessly and ergonomically. Unlike with wash sponges, the microfibre strands of the Slim Wash Cloth absorb dirt particles into the wash tool, so sand and other dirt do not remain rolling around and scratching the surface being washed. The long synthetic microfibre strands are gentle even on more delicate surfaces, and their advantage over e.g. wash tools made of lambswool is their resistance to both chemicals and wear. The Slim Wash Cloth copes effortlessly with both a gentle maintenance wash and a thorough wash with solvents! Thanks to its slim shape, the Slim Wash Cloth is suitable not only for cars but also for washing e.g. motorcycles and mopeds, and thanks to its machine-washable construction it is a long-lasting helper for both enthusiasts and professionals.

Quick guide
- Microfibre products are almost without exception machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre product is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate wash bag, so that the cloth cannot rub and wear the other items or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent made specifically for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that the cloth is cleaned properly and kept as fluffy and absorbent as possible.
- If a normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as e.g. cloths used for waxing, so that wax residue released from the cloths does not clog the drying cloth.
- Microfibre products should be washed regularly so that they get clean at the wash temperature given in the care label. The temperature generally ranges between 30-60 degrees. Very dirty microfibre may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and needs a higher wash temperature than the given care instructions to get clean. However, using a temperature higher than the care instructions carries risks; in particular, microfibres washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the wash temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
