The King Carthur Premium Wash Pad is a very high-quality and absorbent wash pad, popular even with professionals, whose gentle microfibre construction is suitable for regular maintenance washes as well as thorough washes with solvents. The pad's soft microfibre strands truly pamper the paintwork, and thanks to the long, synthetic strands, the dirt particles that come off the paintwork end up inside the pad, unlike with a traditional wash sponge, where the dirt is left spinning between the paint and the sponge, causing scratches. The structure of the Premium Wash Pad has been designed down to every detail to achieve the best possible wash result, and for this reason a 2 cm thick layer of foam has also been added inside, making it more absorbent than many other wash pads. In addition, the seamless construction ensures that no scratches occur even on the most delicate surfaces!

Quick guide

KC's microfibre products are machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If the wash pad is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate wash bag, so that it does not rub and wear the other items or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent made specifically for microfibre when washing the wash pad, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that it is cleaned properly and kept as fluffy and absorbent as possible.
If normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. The wash pad should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used for waxing, so that wax residues released from those cloths do not clog the pad.
The wash pad should be washed regularly, at the washing temperature given in the care label. The temperature usually ranges between 30 and 60 degrees. A very dirty wash pad may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and may need a higher temperature than the washing instructions give. However, using a temperature higher than the instructions carries risks: microfibre products washed at a low 30 degrees in particular may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) if the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
