Lint-free, large (50 x 50 cm) microfibre cloth for cleaning and final polishing of glass surfaces. Cleans the surface effectively and leaves a streak-free finish!

King Carthur Purple View is a top-quality, lint-free glass cloth that works excellently for the final polish of glass when washing it with the two-cloth technique. Even the best glass cleaner will not work without a proper cloth that lifts dirt off the surface. The lint-free structure of Purple View cleans glass surfaces effectively, even from stubborn dirt, and ensures a streak-free finish. In addition to the inside and outside of car windows, the cloth is suitable for mirrors and also works excellently for cleaning glass surfaces at home. The exceptionally large size (50 x 50 cm) and the weight of 350 g/m² ensure the cloth's absorbency even in daily professional use.

Quick guide

  • Microfibre cloths are almost without exception machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre cloth is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it inside a separate wash bag, so that the cloth does not rub against and wear the other items or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent made specifically for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, to get the cloth properly clean and keep it as fluffy and absorbent as possible.
  • If a normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other fillers, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying towels should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used for waxing, so that wax residues released from those cloths do not clog the drying towel.
  • Microfibre cloths should be washed regularly, at the wash temperature given on the care label. The temperature generally varies between 30 and 60 degrees. A very dirty microfibre cloth may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and may need a higher wash temperature than the care instructions state. However, using a temperature higher than the care instructions involves risks: in particular, microfibre cloths washed at a low 30 degrees can easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the wash temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
