Glass cloth
Silver Shine
A premium microfibre cloth with exceptional cleaning power and good absorbency for washing and drying glass surfaces. The smooth, soft texture grips even ingrained dirt well and leaves perfectly clean glass behind. Size 40 x 40 cm.
King Carthur Silver Shine is a cleaning and drying cloth designed for glass surfaces. The cloth is made of very short-pile microfibre, and its surface feels practically completely smooth to the touch. It is precisely this construction that lets it grip all kinds of dirt very effectively, making glass cleaning easy and effortless. With Silver Shine, glass and mirror surfaces can be cleaned not only of ordinary dirt but also of ingrained dirt that will not come off with ordinary cloths despite scrubbing. Examples include nicotine films, baked-on insects and other organic matter that has dried onto the glass. In addition to its outstanding cleaning power, Silver Shine's smooth and soft surface dries glass quickly and gently, without risk of scratching the surface. This absorbent cloth leaves no streaks or swirl marks on the glass, only perfectly clean, crystal-clear glass. Silver Shine is machine washable, which makes it an exceptionally pleasant aid for keeping glass surfaces clean in both the car and the home.

Quick guide
- Microfibre cloths are almost without exception machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfibre cloth is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag so that the cloth does not rub against and wear other items, or pick up lint from them. We recommend using a detergent designed specifically for microfibre, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash, so that the cloth is cleaned properly and kept as plush and absorbent as possible.
- If a normal laundry detergent is used, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other fillers, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used for waxing, so that wax residue released from those cloths does not clog the drying cloth.
- Microfibre cloths should be washed regularly, at the washing temperature given on the care label, so that the cloth gets clean. The temperature usually ranges between 30 and 60 degrees. A very dirty microfibre cloth may not get properly clean at 30 degrees and may need a higher washing temperature than the one given in the care instructions. However, using a temperature higher than the care instructions involves risks: microfibre cloths washed at the low temperature of 30 degrees in particular may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) if the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
