King Carthur ACE Plastic Gen2 is an easy-to-use and extremely durable plastic coating that restores faded plastic surfaces to their original glory in an instant. The product bonds to the treated surface like lacquer, creating a thin hydrophobic "film" that gives plastic parts faded by the sun's UV rays or the patina of time their original deep colour and bright appearance again. Unlike traditional plastic care products, the coating cannot be washed off, but withstands practically all detergents. This way the surface does not return to a faded state after a few washes, as tends to happen with many "traditional" plastic care products. ACE Plastic Gen2 is suitable for all unpainted plastic surfaces, such as a vehicle's decorative trim, sills and flaps. This coating not only restores the plastic's original colour, but also gives it effective protection against both UV radiation and soiling for up to a year, so in addition to reviving worn parts it is suitable for protecting new parts from future fading and wear. Being highly hydrophobic, the coating repels dirt, water and other contaminants, helping keep the surface clean.
