HIGHLY POPULAR!! A super-effective combined iron remover and cleaner for wheels, among other things. Easy application and a fast-acting formula will change your view of iron removers.

"Iron removal refers to a work step after the pre-wash/mitt wash in which sharp iron particles embedded in the car's paintwork, as well as already oxidised ones, known as fallout rust, are removed. For the most part these iron particles originate from vehicles' brake pads and discs: every braking puffs a small cloud of iron into the air. These metal particles feel like roughness on paintwork and, especially on wheels, show up as black oxidation.

Wheels in particular typically contain a lot of iron, as they are constantly the target of brake dust. If ordinary washing products do not work on black stains on the wheels, they are most likely iron. Metal particles cannot be removed with ordinary washing products."

Quick guide

  • Shake before use. The spray bottle's nozzle has two settings: a narrow pinpoint jet and a wide mist. Unlock the nozzle and turn it to the desired spray pattern.
  • Paintwork: Iron removal is carried out on the whole car as part of a thorough clean, after the pre-wash and mitt wash. After washing, it is worth drying at least most of the water from the surfaces so that the iron remover does not become diluted by water on the surface. Shake the bottle well before use. Spray Iron Remover evenly onto the surfaces to be treated. Let the product dwell for approx. 5-10 minutes, but do not let it dry. Rinse the surface thoroughly and continue to the next step.
  • TIP: To minimise product consumption, Iron Remover can be sprayed onto the surface in a somewhat "here and there" manner, after which it is spread evenly over the surface with, for example, a microfibre applicator (or, in the case of wheels, a suitable wheel brush).
  • If you want to maximise cleaning power, spray the product onto the surface, let it dwell for 2-4 minutes, and then gently wipe the surface with, for example, a microfibre cloth. This removes the dirt that has already come loose from the surface, and the product can bite deeper into the iron particles still in the surface.
  • Wheels: On wheels, iron removal is generally carried out in the same way as on paintwork, i.e. after removing loose dirt. This allows the product to act on precisely the iron-containing dirt that other products do not remove.
  • Thanks to the power of King Carthur Iron Remover, a clean-looking result can nevertheless be achieved very easily if desired: spray the product onto the wheels about 5 minutes before the pre-wash. After the dwell time, foam the car, including the wheels (do not rinse the Iron Remover off in between). Let the foam dwell on the surface, then rinse off the foam and iron remover thoroughly.
  • Do not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Do not allow the product to freeze.
