King Carthur Classic Mitt is a microfiber washing glove designed for heavy-duty use and to withstand even strong detergents. The glove's short-pile surface and durable microfiber structure make it an excellent tool for washing particularly dirty areas, such as rims and skirts. In addition, the glove's flexible material and short pile give a good feel for all shapes of the object being washed, making it easy to clean even tight and hard-to-reach areas. Despite its short pile, the Classic Mitt is really soft and absorbent, so it will not scratch or otherwise damage the surface being washed, and can therefore be safely used on sensitive surfaces. This long-lasting glove can also be used with solvent-based detergents without worry, as it is particularly resistant to all chemicals used in car washing. In addition to its great cleaning properties, the Classic Mitt is just the right size for washing all surfaces, whether large or small. In addition, the glove is equipped with a sturdy elastic band, so it stays in your hand both during washing and when being tossed in the wash bucket.

User manual

Microfiber products are almost always machine washable and should always be washed before first use. If a microfiber product is washed with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag , so that the cloth does not rub and wear other washable items or collect lint from them. We recommend using a detergent specifically designed for microfiber when washing cloths, such as King Carthur Microfiber Wash , to clean the cloth properly and keep it as dense and absorbent as possible.

If you use a normal laundry detergent, make sure it does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and do not use a separate fabric softener. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as cloths used for waxing, for example, to prevent wax residue from the cloths from clogging the drying cloth.

It is advisable to wash microfiber products regularly so that they are cleaned at the washing temperature specified on the care label. The temperature usually varies between 30-60 degrees. Very dirty microfiber may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a higher washing temperature than the washing instructions. However, using a higher temperature than the washing instructions has its risks, especially microfibers that are washed at a low 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
