A massive (70 x 120 cm) drying cloth that absorbs liters of water! Very soft and gentle structure with seamless edges. Weight 800 g/m².

King Carthur Blue Sapphire is a massive size (70 x 120 cm) and absorbent drying cloth that effectively dries even larger surfaces at once. The cloth's thick and very soft microfiber knit makes it very gentle, and these, combined with the high polyamide content (30%), ensure carefree drying of even the most sensitive surfaces. Blue Sapphire is up to three times the size of a conventional drying cloth (70 x 120 cm). Thanks to its massive size, the cloth absorbs liters of water and thus enables drying even several cars without crunching in between. If you are looking for the largest possible drying cloth, Blue Sapphire is your choice!

The gentleness of the cloth is enhanced by the seamless edges, and it does not have a sewn-in washcloth that can cause unwanted marks on the paint surface when rubbing against it. The easiest way to dry with this cloth is by either simply patting or sliding the cloth against the surface. The weight of the cloth is 800 g/m².

Dude's comment: "King Carthur Blue Sapphire is a drying cloth the size of which you could quickly mistake it for a nap blanket. This is for someone who is massive! The cloth's seamless edges, extremely soft structure and good absorbency make drying easy and safe. Thanks to its massive size, even a larger car can be dried easily without creaking in between. If you want a drying cloth as large as possible, you should choose this one! I can't help but recommend it."

Quick Guide

Microfiber cloths are almost always machine washable and should always be washed before the first use. If the microfiber cloth is washed together with other laundry, it is wisest to put it in a separate laundry bag , so that the cloth cannot rub and wear out other laundry or collect lint from them. When washing cloths, we recommend using a detergent specifically intended for microfiber, e.g. King Carthur Microfiber Wash , so that the cloth can be cleaned properly and kept as fluffy and absorbent as possible.

If normal laundry detergent is used, it must be ensured that the substance does not contain zeolite or other thinners, and a separate fabric softener must not be used. Drying cloths should not be washed at the same time as, for example, cloths used in waxing, so that the wax residue coming off the cloths does not support the drying cloth.

It is recommended to wash the microfiber cloth regularly so that the cloth is cleaned at the washing temperature according to the washing labels. Usually the temperature varies between 30 and 60 degrees. A microfiber cloth that has gotten very dirty may not be cleaned properly at 30 degrees, but requires a washing temperature higher than the given washing instructions to be cleaned. However, using a temperature higher than the washing instructions has its risks, especially microfiber cloths washed at a low temperature of 30 degrees may easily shrink (or otherwise suffer) when the washing temperature is raised above the manufacturer's instructions.
